Apple has officially canceled its Wireless Charging Mat called 'AirPower' this Friday and people are upset.
Apple had announced its wireless charger which could charge multiple iDevices at once way back in fall 2017 and people were eager to know more, rumors were floating through the internet and even potential release dates, but now with the confirmed cancellation of Apple's AirPower people have now lost hope for any upcoming wireless chargers from Apple.
The senior vice president of Apple, Dan Rico said:
“After much effort, we’ve concluded AirPower will not achieve our high standards and we have cancelled the project. We apologize to those customers who were looking forward to this launch. We continue to believe that the future is wireless and are committed to push the wireless experience forward.”
