Apple's new iMacs gets upgraded from last year

Apple recently announced their new iMacs for this year and they claim its performance has been boosted 2x which is quite a jump from the last year's models.

Although the new iMacs does feature the same design like the previous models, the specs have been upgraded to make them much faster. The 21.5-inch and the 27-inch both have gotten a CPU and a GPU upgrade.

The 21.5-inch will now feature an Intel's 8th-generation quad-core or 6-core processors which will deliver 60% faster performance. As for the 27-inch model it will feature the latest 9th-generation 6-core or 8-core processors which will deliver 2.4x faster performance than the older 27-inch model.




The GPU's have also been upgraded for the new iMacs with now an optional Radeon Pro Vega graphics which has been added for the first time ever in a iMac, with 80% faster graphics performance on the 21.5-inch model and 50% faster graphics on the 27-inch model.

The 21.5-inch will have a 4K Retina display and and the 27-inch features a 5K Retina display with upto 14.7 million pixels and 1 billion colors to please the eye.

21.5-inch iMac has a starting price tag of $1299 which will come with a 8th-generation Intel i3 processor, 8GB Ram, 1TB Hard Drive and Radeon Pro 555X graphics.The bigger brother 27-inch iMac starts at $1799 and will have 6-core, 9th-generation Intel i5 processor, 8GB Ram, 1TB Fusion drive and Radeon Pro 570X graphics installed.
