With the announcement of this year's iPads, upgraded iMacs and the AirPods 2 people were also expecting a launch of AirPower but Apple did not mention anything about its wireless charger.
The leaks from before did point to a March launch but despite the rumours Apple decided to keep its wireless charger behind closed doors. However, another source DigiTimes clamins that Apple will launch the AirPower in "Late March".
The sources said that Apple’s AirPower wireless charger for iPhones, Apple Watch and AirPods is set to be officially launched in late March, which will significantly drive up Lite-On’s revenues for the second quarter of 2019.
It does seem likely considering Apple has an event coming on the 25th of March called its 'Show Time' and Apple could just release their wireless charger at the event and put it on sale right after.
Apple should really be careful about this considering the embarrassment they received before for delaying the release of AirPower and they might want to launch it to save them-selves from further outrage from the public.
