The new iPad mini 5 starts at $399

Apple just launched its infamous and fan-favorite iPad mini in their new line up of iPads for this year and its looking quite impressive.

The fifth-generation iPad mini is finally here and it comes with Apple pencil support which Apple is really proud of for putting it in a form-factor like the iPad mini 5.

The design has not been changed from the previous models, Touch-id is still being used, no facial recognition, Headphone-jack is still present which is going to make a lot of people happy and with the lightning connector from the previous models as-well.

The 7.9-inch tablet looks identical to the new 10.5-inch iPad Air except for its screen-size but that's no surprise, it is called the 'mini' for a reason. The iPad mini 5 has a Retina display with a resolution of 2048 x 1536, its a true tone display with a 25% brighter screen.

The iPad mini has an A12-bionic chip, 3GB RAM with the latest IOS 12 installed which will provide top of the line power and will be faster then the last years 9.7-inch iPad.

In the camera the department the iPad mini 5 is running a 8MP f/2.4 at the back and a 7MP f/2.2 at the front, Apple does say the camera has been improved and now will be able to capture 1080p HD videos without a problem.

The new iPad mini 5 will come in three colors Silver, Space gray and Gold. It will be available in stores on the 25th of March this year, starting at $399 for the 64GB model and $549 for the 256GB.
